Abstract
Our interest, in this paper, is to present theoretical and methodological alternatives to the traditional conceptions understanding of the meaning of the words. Usually, the meaning of the words is obtained from a basic set of information stored on in individual the memory of each speaker who internally handles it in an autonomous way a . Recent trials in robotics, artificial life and ethnography of cognitive systems have research in robotics, artificial life and ethnography of cognitive systems has showed how one can study the meaning of words as the result of a construction among cooperative and interactive agents. Thus, the meaning starts to be viewed as a situated, distributed and emergent phenomenon.
